We're pleased to share several images of this gut renovation on a vibrant street between Columbus Circle and the Theater District of Midtown Manhattan. The original space was assembled by a developer during the conversion of a 1940's institutional building into residential apartments. The layout was reconfigured to create a new kitchen, living area, and a private master suite with a dressing area and large spa bath. At the opposite side, a new vestibule separates a home office from a guest bedroom.

This was a Gut Renovation of an Upper West Side Duplex Apartment Townhouse.  It was turned into a Triplex apartment/office with a magnificent backyard.

The basement was excavated up to 3FT in certain areas to allow 8’6” ceiling height and building foundation had to be pinned. The basement was turned into a 1000SF office space with light from the rear glass skylight.

The renovation of this apartment restored the timeless details of a pre-war Manhattan residence while introducing elements of contemporary living. The Eagle Contractors Group created a formal gallery at the entry to provide privacy for the second bedroom, a deep niche for displaying art, and a large walk-in closet. A new cased opening defines the view to the living room, and an enlarged vestibule at the master suite with a frosted glass door allows eastern and northern light to filter throughout the apartment. Further details include frameless doors with pivot hinges, tray ceilings with Italian glass fixtures, and a lighting control system.

Country Lake House

Bethel, New York

This property was built in the late 1800’s as a hotel. The current owner purchased the property in the 1960’s as a family vacation home. Since the 60’s there were some small renovations done to the property, but none met the property's potential until July of 2010 when the Eagle Contractors Group and the Hirshson Design Group worked together to transform this abandoned space into what you see in the photos.
